On 16 December 2025, a cooperation meeting was held at Ibn Haldun University, with the participation of Volkan ADANAŞ, Deputy Mayor of Başakşehir Municipality, Sebahattin BELİK, Secretary General of Ibn Haldun University, and the relevant unit managers from both institutions.
During the meeting, potential joint projects and areas of collaboration between the units of Başakşehir Municipality and the academic and administrative units of Ibn Haldun University were discussed. The meeting included an exchange of views aimed at strengthening local government–university cooperation, with education, social projects, youth initiatives, and practice-oriented collaborations highlighted as key focus areas.
As a continuation of previous meetings held between Ibn Haldun University and Başakşehir Municipality, a common approach was adopted to ensure close coordination and regular communication between the municipal and university units involved in joint projects, as well as to continue similar consultation meetings at regular intervals.
