Ibn Haldun University Held Its First Quality Commission Meeting of 2025

Ibn Haldun University Quality Commission held its first meeting of 2025 on February 13, 2025, with the participation of the Rector, Vice Rectors, and Quality Commission members.

The main agenda items of the meeting included the National Quality Assurance System, the activities of the IHU Quality Commission, and planned activities for the upcoming period.

Due to changes in some of the commission members, the meeting began with a general status review and information-sharing session with the new members. Within the framework of the National Quality Assurance System, the importance and duties of Quality Commissions were discussed according to the Higher Education Quality Assurance and Higher Education Quality Board Regulations. Additionally, YÖKAK criteria, the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle, and evidence-based reporting processes were explained.

During the meeting, it was reminded that the university's activities in quality management, strategic management, process management, and internal/external evaluations are conducted in accordance with the IHU Quality Assurance Regulation. Furthermore, topics such as the 2024 strategic plan monitoring process, performance evaluation meetings, process performance indicators, preparation of the Institutional Self-Evaluation Report (KİDR), and 2026-2029 Strategic Plan preparations were discussed.

As a result of the decisions taken, it was agreed that the Quality Commission will meet regularly every month. The main agenda of the March meeting will focus on the Institutional Self-Evaluation Report (KİDR), while the agenda for the April meeting will be a status evaluation of the activities conducted and not conducted according to the 2023 Monitoring Program feedback.
